What a peculiar essay. Mr. Moran implies there is a moral equivalence between conservatives and the Left.
The fundamentals of socialism are based on falsehood. Mr. Obama's campaign has displayed this time and again: from his campaign's financing and voter registration, to his "tax refund for 95% of Americans" to his closeted antipathy to American foundations of liberty. Socialism does not work for those subjected to its stifling of freedom.
I respect the office of the Presidency, but do not feel compelled to acquiesce on ethics and principles. However, I can oppose a possible attack on our freedom with civility and facts, something the Left is incapable of.
